Using Benefits

Before scheduling an appointment with the Veteran & Military Center, make sure you:

  1. are an admitted Wright State University student,
  2. have registered for classes,
  3. and have applied for VA education benefits (see Tab 2).

Once you have met these requirements, please schedule an appointment with the Veteran & Military Center by coming to our center or calling  (937) 775-5550. When you arrive for your appointment, please bring the following documents to your appointment:

Needed Documentation to Be Processed for Benefits:

Active Duty/Veteran

Chapter Number: 30

Documents Needed:

  1. Class Schedule AND
  2. DD Form 214 (veterans only)
  3. Application Form 22-1990 OR
  4. Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

Vocational Rehabilitation

Chapter Number: 31

Documents Needed:

  1. Class Schedule
  2. Form 22-1905 (signed by counselor)

Post 9/11 Veteran

Chapter Number: 33

Documents Needed:

  1. Class Schedule AND
  2. DD Form 214
  3. Application Form 22-1990 OR
  4. Certificate of Eligibility (COE)*

*Post 9/11 COE will prevent classes from being canceled due to non-payment and/or late fees.

Post 9/11 Transfer of Entitlement

  2. DOD Screenshot of Approval for Transfer
  3. Application Form 22-1990E OR
  4. Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

Survivors & Dependents Assistance

Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve

  2. DD Form 22-2384 — Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE)
  3. Kicker Contract (if applicable) AND
  4. Application form 22-1990 OR
  5. Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
