Orientation

The Veteran & Military Center provides a new Veteran Student Orientation before the start of each term (Fall, Spring, Summer). This orientation is open to all veterans and military-connected service members who are new or transfer students to assist with bridging the gap between the military and campus culture.

New students are emailed details of the orientation upon admission to Wright State University. Orientations are held in August, January and May.

Topics covered at orientation include: transition from military to campus, academic success tips, financial aid, Disability Services, campus resources, and GI Bill benefits overview. You will also get to meet the VMC staff and student-veteran employees.

If you are unable to attend our orientation, you can complete the online Transfer and Nontraditional orientation via https://www.wright.edu/transfer/orientation. This orientation consists of multiple modules that you can complete in any order. You can return to it whenever you like.
