The Veteran & Military Center provides a new Veteran Student Orientation before the start of each term (Fall, Spring, Summer). This orientation is open to all veterans and military-connected service members who are new or transfer students to assist with bridging the gap between the military and campus culture.

New students are emailed details of the orientation upon admission to Wright State University. Orientations are held in August, January and May.

Topics covered at orientation include: transition from military to campus, military transfer credit, financial aid, Disability Services, career development, GI Bill benefits, and tips for success in college.

If you are unable to attend one of our orientations, you can complete the online Transfer and Nontraditional orientation via https://www.wright.edu/transfer/orientation. This orientation consists of multiple modules that you can complete in any order. You can return to it whenever you like.
