Special Tours

Do you want to bring a group of students to campus for a tour or presentation? Use our online Special Tours request form to get started. Want to talk to someone before you submit your request? Contact Kristina Case at 1-800-247-1770 or (937) 775-5700.

Daily Tours

We offer a 90-minute walking tour of campus at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Beginning February 1, 2012 the tour will feature a 30 minute presentation before the tour. You or your students can schedule a tour by registering online or by calling 1-800-247-1770 or (937) 775-5700. The admissions staff is happy to sit down one-on-one and answer any individual questions. To schedule an individual appointment, please call us as appointments are scheduled on an individual basis.

Raider Open House

Raider Open House days are an opportunity to tour campus, meet with faculty and staff, and attend presentations like Financial Aid, Learning Communities, Honors, and Housing. Register online or call 1-800-247-1770 or (937) 775-5700.

Special Events

  • Glimpse of College

    Glimpse of College is a program especially for African American and Hispanic students who are interested in attending Wright State. During the Glimpse of College, students have the opportunity to talk with current Wright State students, meet with faculty, and learn the keys to making a successful transition to college.

  • Raider Academic Days

    Six special visit days in October that include an admission presentation, a campus tour and a session with an academic college to learn more about your major. Each academic college will have a specific date so check back to learn more.

  • Pre-College Programs

  • Mini-Med School

    This six-week series is designed to:

    • give you an inside look at how we train medical students
    • share accurate, up-to-date health and science information
    • give you hands-on learning experiences

    Follow in the footsteps of our first- and second-year medical students to understand how they learn to diagnose and treat disease and illness.

    Each session focuses on a topic that will help you understand the crucial role of basic science and research in supporting and advancing medicine in today's world.
