The Faculty

The professors here are amazing! I had a really hard time with my math classes my freshman year. So I decided to enroll in a smaller class for my math so that the experience was more student centered and more personal. The instructor for this class was great at allowing us to figure things out on our own while guiding us in the right direction. The professors are very supportive and helpful and I feel they genuinely care about your personal wellbeing.

Living on Campus

This university is very diverse! Its a great experience to come here and see so many different people and learn about different cultures. My third year living on campus in the apartments, my roomate was from Syria.I've learned so much about her and her culture and in return she has learned about our culture here in the states. Living with her was a great experience and it has taught me to be more appreciative about the opportunities that our country and schools like WSU offer us.

Preparing for the Future

My career goal is to work at and own my own chain of daycare facilities. Wright State has an awesome education program and has a daycare site right on campus to do student teaching at. I currently work there and they are great supporters of helping us with our schooling and helping us to achieve our goals professionally.

A Few of My Favorite Things

The student union because everyone is there and everything is there. There are computers to use to finish up that last minute assignment. Hungry? There is a food court full of yummy food choices to choose from. There is also the bank, gym, pool, and bookstore. Anything you want or need is right there.

My favorite class has been an art class that I took for my education degree. It was very interactive and I was able to really express my creativity the way I wanted.

May Daze or now April Craze is great. All of the student orgs come out on campus and you get to meet and greet and eat! There are different activities to do and tables and booths to visit, and as always, free stuff!!
