A Little Advice
Upon coming to college, don't be afraid of what others think about who you really are. Be yourself and be friendly and open to others and the connections you will make at school are really quite amazing.
Feeling at Home
I enjoy living on campus because I am so close to everything going on. If I forget something for class or I am on campus for a meeting or event, I am always within walking distance of my room.
My largest fear upon coming to college was thinking that I would have a hard time making friends. Wright State helped me overcome this by having planned "first weekend activities" where I instantly met three good friends that I still keep in touch with today.
A Few of My Favorite Things
My favorite spot on campus--I really enjoy the library. I like nestling myself in a quiet place on the third floor where it is quiet and I have a good view of the campus, and I like being surrounded by thousands of books.
Earth History has been my favorite class so far. Earth History helped me put my existence in perspective of the existence of the Earth's creation and learn a lot about why our geographic area looks the way it does today.
Boogie on the Bricks has been my favorite on-campus experience. Boogie on the Bricks is when all of the freshmen have a dance with a live DJ right on campus. It was really fun dancing with all of the other freshmen and flaunting my horrible dancing skills.
