The mission and vision for UDAC is to be an active council that:

• Organizes and plans diversity programs and activities that are campus wide. These programs will be proactive and influence a diverse and inclusive culture on the campus.

• Encourages support and facilitates college, school and administrative units in providing programming that makes the unit more diverse and makes the unit a welcoming and supportive environment for all its members.

• Assists the senior leadership of the university in locating resources, evaluating institutional progress, and setting expectations for campus diversity and inclusion as it relates to the University Strategic Goals.
