Project RENEUUS
Regional Educational Network Between the European Union and the United States
An Academic Program
and
Education Abroad Experience
Project RENEUUS represents an innovative approach in delivering an interdisciplinary academic program in regional
planning, development, and leadership.
It focuses on efforts made by a consortium of six European and American universities to provide their communities with graduates trained in the fields of communication, management, and public administration who are able to identify and respond to existing and future
community challenges from a global perspective. The project seeks to foster closer cooperation and a support network between universities in regions of Europe and the United States that are experiencing significant social, economic, and technological change.
The program provides a great opportunity for undergraduate students to gain both instruction and practical international experience in three academic fields leading to a Certificate in Comparative Development.
Credits earned abroad are easily transferred back to student’s own university.
This program was originally funded by U.S. Department of Education, Fund for the Improvement of Post Secondary Education (FIPSE), EU-US Cooperation Grant and by the
Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC) in the European Community.
