Financial Aid Information
Students who would like to
education abroad can receive federal/state financial aid and scholarships.
To qualify for financial aid, a student must be degree seeking and
registered at WSU for the time period she/he will study abroad. To apply, a
student must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
For detail information on types of financial aid and scholarship
information, please visit the Office for Financial Aid web site at:
www.wright.edu/finaid.
How it works
-
A student applies for financial aid and/or scholarship
-
The student is awarded aid according to their cost of attendance for the
education abroad and Mary Reshad (the contact person for education abroad
student) in the office of Financial Aid will inform the appropriate program
of the student's aid assistance.
-
If the student is studying abroad with the University Studies Abroad
Consortium (USAC) Program, their aid assistance is applied to their Office
of Bursar's account. The Office of the Bursar then forwards the financial
aid to either USAC or UCIE for any balance due, the remaining financial aid
will be refunded for living expenses (if applicable)
-
If the student is studying abroad with the Exchange Program, they are
charged WSU Tuition and the aid assistance is applied to their Office of the
Bursar's account. If there is aid assistance for living expenses, a refund
will be issued to the student.
