7th Annual International Education Award
During International
Education Week, November 17-21, 2008, Dr. Laura M. Luehrmann
PHD, Associate Professor of Political Science, Director of the Master of International and Comparative Politics, was awarded
the International Education Award for 2008. This award is designed to
recognize the successful efforts of members of the Wright State University
community to expand global awareness and international understanding on the
campus and in the surrounding communities. The award was established to
highlight innovations in international curriculum development, the operation
of study abroad activities and the provision of services to international
students and scholars. Past recipients include Carol Cornett, Andrew Lai, Wayne Carmichael,
Fall Ainina, Donna Schlagheck, Marguerite MacDonald, and The Division of
Community Programs in the Raj Soin College of Business.
