International Education
Award 2003
This award is designed to recognize the
successful efforts of members of the Wright State University community in
expanding global awareness and international understanding on the campus and
in the surrounding communities. The award is designed, as well, to highlight
innovations in curriculum development, the operation of study abroad
activities and the provision of services to students and scholars.
The
award is presented annually in conjunction with International Education
Week observances at the Wright State University (November 10-14, 2003).

2003 International Education Award Recipients was
Professor Donna Schlagheck of the Department of Political Science.
Nominations:
Any faculty,
staff or student member(s) of the WSU community can be nominated for this
award.
Nominations should include a cover letter summarizing the accomplishments of
the candidate(s), a curriculum vitae or resume, and appropriate supporting
evidence concerning the nominee(s)' contributions to international education
at Wright State University. Nominations should be submitted to Dr. Douglas
Nord, Executive Director of the University Center for International Education
(UCIE) by Friday, September 17, 2004.
These materials will be forwarded to a selection committee composed of six
members of UCIE Advisory Committees.
