What Help is Available?
Software Help – The
UCIE office has purchased the use of
CINTAX, a web-based tax program. This software will enable you to
use any computer that has web access to start or modify your personal
tax return - this means you are no longer limited to one lab and certain
times of the day to modify or correct your own personal return. The
procedure for obtaining the CINTAX passwords will be announced in the
UCIE weekly email newsletter. Passwords WILL BE available the UCIE
office. In order to use CINTAX you will need:
-
Passport

Please remember that
even though CINTAX is a web-based program, it is not "E-filing".
"E-filing" is a web-based method that US Citizens and Resident Aliens
can use to file their Federal Income Tax Returns. E-filing IS NOT
AVAILABLE for Non-Resident Aliens.
After completing
your tax return using NRA-Ware you must print your documents, sign them
and mail them to the IRS address supplied with the CINTAX program.
