The International Friendship Affair (IFA) 2003 was another successful international celebration hosted at our university that gave everyone the chance to "visit" for a short while different parts of the world, and hear first hand about the culture of those distant places.
Paralleling Ohio's Bicentennial Celebration, the 19th Annual International Friendship Affair focused on national milestones in each one of the countries represented.
IFA 2003 began with an International Flag Parade featuring WSU international students as flag bearers and was followed by stage music and dance performances by groups representing various countries of the world.
Throughout the event, visitors had the chance to try international food and examine the various table displays representing the cultural heritages of WSU international students. It was also a great opportunity to build connections between the members of international community here at Wright State as well as the surrounding Dayton community.
