The Pfeife Smith World Affairs Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 by the Dayton Council on World Affairs to award scholarships to graduating Dayton Public School students who show a strong interest in political science and/or international studies and who plan to attend the University of Dayton, Wright State University or Sinclair Community College.

Two $2,000 scholarships or one $4,000 scholarship will be offered annually. However, the Selection Committee may elect not to award a scholarship if, in its judgment, a suitable candidate cannot be identified. This is a one-year scholarship.
