This unique collaboration will focus on the timeless topic of unjust imprisonment in today's world and in the time and storyline of Ludwig van Beethoven's 1805 opera Fidelio. Beethoven's dramatic masterpiece, with its themes of freedom, devotion, heroism and sacrifice, tells the story of a devoted wife who struggles to free her wrongly imprisoned husband from the chains of an oppressive rule.
