Ileana Marin

Ileana currently serves as Senior Program Associate for the international and other domestic programs of the Charles F. Kettering Foundation, a research institute based in Dayton, Ohio. Her main responsibilities are around the coordination of the International Fellowships' Program as well as major international workshops and conferences. She has been affiliated in a capacity or another with this foundation since 1997.

She previously worked as Program Manager and Director for one of the Romania-based programs developed by the U.S. World Learning for International Development, titled Romanian-American Sustainable Partnerships. In 2004 and 2005 she also worked as Program Officer for another program of the same organization titled ChildNet, a child welfare reform project in Romania.

Her main areas of activity and interest are in international affairs and relations, non-profit sector, and ethnic and minority issues. Ileana holds a Master's Degree in Romanian and Hungarian Linguistics and Cultures, and another one in Ethnic and Minority Studies. She is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Human and Organizational Development.
