Carolyn Rice has served as Montgomery County Treasurer since February 2007. Carolyn serves on the County's Investment Advisory Committee, the Budget Commission, the Microfilm Board, and the Data Processing Board. She is a member of the Legislative Committee of the County Treasurer's Association of Ohio.
Prior to serving as the Montgomery County Treasurer, Carolyn worked 17 years in marketing and business development for a variety of organizations including Reynolds & Reynolds, LexisNexis, Dames & Moore, and Wright State University. As County Treasurer, Carolyn is applying her wealth of experience in management and leadership to better serve the citizens of Montgomery County.
Additionally, she also serves as President of the Dayton Council on World Affairs, Co-Chair of the Ohio League of Women Voters 2010 Budget Committee, Vice President of the Washington Centerville Public Library Foundation Board, and on the Board of Directors of the Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services. She is a member of The Rotary Club of Dayton and the Centerville-Washington Diversity Council.
She is a native of Dayton, and received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University of Ohio and her Master of Business Administration from Wright State University. Carolyn is a long-time resident of Centerville, Ohio, and is married with two adult children.
