"Home Hospitality Opportunity"
Would you like to serve as a citizen diplomat and host foreign leaders visiting your community? We are currently looking for volunteers to host 2-3 delegates in their homes for dinner on the following dates:
July 7th - This delegation includes English-speaking librarians from around the world
July 21st – French, Arabic, and English-speaking disability advocates from Africa (Interpreters provided)
July 28th – Spanish and English-speaking law enforcement officials from South America, Central America, and the Caribbean (Interpreters provided)

"Russians Visit Wright State to Learn About University-Industry Partnerships"
Wright State hosted a group of Russian educators who have come to the United States to examine the development of university-industry partnerships in an effort to promote innovation. The University Center for International Education (UCIE) hosted six Russian visitors Dec. 19–21 as part of the National Council for International Visitors (NCIV), International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

"Wright State granted full membership to National Council for International Visitors"
Last Spring, Wright State announced that emerging leaders from around the globe would be making trips to Dayton as part of a prestigious State Department program. After a year on a provisional status, Wright State has been named a full member of the acclaimed National Council for International Visitors (NCIV).
Because the university has been welcoming foreign visitors to its campus for decades and serves as the host institution for the Dayton Council on World Affairs (DCOWA), Wright State was recognized for its commitment to international relations by being admitted to the NCIV. This enables the university to host even more global influencers through the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).
The IVLP brings foreign leaders and experts to the United States for cultural and intellectual exchange.
Many world-famous thinkers and inventors have called Dayton, Ohio home. In that same spirit, the city continues this tradition of innovation by positioning itself as an emerging global technology hub and a center for cutting-edge research initiatives. These industries, along with strong healthcare and defense sectors, recently earned Dayton the ranking of top midsized metropolitan area in the nation for economic development.
