Application Prerequisites

• Undergraduate degree seeking student

• Junior or Senior standing

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of Portuguese language study

• Interest in Brazil or Latin America
   

What is the Cost of Participation?

• Roundtrip airfare from the USA to Brazil and transportation to Curitiba

• WSU tuition, books and other expenses

• Living expenses while in Curitiba

• Health and emergency evacuation insurance during period abroad

• Costs associated with securing  a U.S. passport and Brazilian student visa if needed

All Wright State students participating in study abroad programs are required to pay a non-refundable $50.00 application fee. Please attach your check payable to Wright State University to this form when you hand in your study abroad application.

Academic Calendar and Programs
 

• Since Brazil is in the Southern Hemisphere,
  the academic terms are August-December,
  January-February, and March-July

• All majors are encouraged to apply
