University College Council
The University College Council's mission is to educate students about campus life
and the purpose of the University College. UCC provides a great opportunity for
University College students to get involved and to serve in leadership positions.
Goals of UCC:
- To see that first year students are informed of new college opportunities,
academic support and programs offered to WSU students;
- To increase the participation of freshmen in campus activities;
- To make freshmen feel at home on Wright State's campus;
- To provide information to help students progress to their college of choice;
and
- To inform students of university issues and gather their input.
Past UCC events have included:
- Raffles to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- Major Fair in May 2002
- University College Recognition Banquet in May 2002
- Assist with New Student Orientation in Summer 2001 and 2002
