The University College Council's mission is to educate students about campus life and the purpose of the University College. UCC provides a great opportunity for University College students to get involved and to serve in leadership positions.

Goals of UCC:

• To see that first year students are informed of new college opportunities, academic support and programs offered to WSU students;
• To increase the participation of freshmen in campus activities;
• To make freshmen feel at home on Wright State's campus;
• To provide information to help students progress to their college of choice; and
• To inform students of university issues and gather their input.

Past UCC events have included:

• Raffles to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
• Major Fair in May 2002
• University College Recognition Banquet in May 2002
• Assist with New Student Orientation in Summer 2001 and 2002
