The basic tutor pay rate is currently $6.30/hour.

For each hour of tutoring it is necessary for you to obtain the signature of the student that you are tutoring. The tutee should also fill in the Time In and Time Out. If the tutee's signature is difficult to read, print their name above their signature. It is extremely important that the signature sheets are completed accurately and completely! For No-shows , be sure to include the students name on the signature sheet. When the sheets are turned in each pay period, new ones can be obtained from the Tutoring Office.
Students who must pay for part or all of their tutoring, MUST do so through the Bursar's Office. Tutors are not to ask for additional money from their tutees or take money from tutees for any reason. To do so would be grounds fTutoring Officeor termination.
Completed signature sheets are turned in EVERY TWO WEEKS, usually by 2:00pm on the Friday, ending the two week pay period, and are kept on file in the office.
Students must enter their hours on line in Wings Express. Here is a link to a tutorial on how to enter your hours. The deadline for entering your hours is usually 5:00pm on the Friday, ending the two week pay period.

These reports are to be completed for each appointment and placed in the wooden box in the tutoring office. If the office is closed, either keep until the next day or slide the form under the door. Use the goldenrod forms for athletes.

If your tutee fails to show up without notice complete the top part only of a no-show form rather than the session report. Record the no-show on your blue signature sheet (be sure to include the tutee's name) and give the no-show form to one of the appointment coordinators. Do not place the no-show form in the wooden tray. Your appointment(s) with that tutee are now cancelled until you hear from either the desk or the tutee. Try to contact your tutee to determine why they missed and if they want to continue.
The Tutoring Office often receives requests from parents or local schools for tutors who could work with students on a private basis. When I receive a request I send a list of tutors who have given permission to release their names off campus. I explain to the person making the request that they must work out arrangements directly with the tutor and that most will charge and that some will only meet with the students if they come to the campus.
