WSU Things to Do - Navigating the Wright State System

WSU Things to Do is designed to help new Wright State students successfully transition into college and to help them locate virtually all WSU resources quickly and easily.

WSU Online Checklist

  1. Take placement tests If you have not transferred an English composition you must take the Writing Placement Test; if you have not completed a math within the last year you must take the Math Placement Test.
  2. Undergraduate Catalog Wright State Undergraduate Catalog is available on line.
  3. Meet with an academic advisor Your admission letter tells you what office to call to meet with an advisor.
  4. Register for classes Register at the Registrars office or on the web through WINGS Express via WINGS.
  5. Pay your bill Pay in the Bursars office or on the web through WINGS Express via WINGS.
  6. Get your Wright One Card You need to get your Wright State photo ID in the Raider Center, E146 Student Union, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bring a photo ID.
  7. Get your Student Handbook The Wright State Student Handbook is available on line.
  8. Purchase a parking permit If you are going to park on campus, you must buy a parking permit from Parking Services on line or at their office in E138 Student Union
  9. Buy your books Take your schedule to the bookstore in E182 Student Union to determine which books are required.
  10. Activate your computer account Take your photo ID to CaTS to get your WSU email address and Novell account.
  11. Consult the WSU Resource List To learn more about WSU offices and services consult the Resource List.
