Students in the Academic Advising and Transfer Center are expected to move out of the University College into a degree-granting college no later than the end of their fourth semester at Wright State. The academic year is divided into two semesters (fall and spring) and a summer session.
The minimum full time load is 12 credit hours per term, with the average between 14-17 credit hours. Academic achievement is measured by letter grades and points used in calculating GPAs.
Students who have earned a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, or who have not been on probation for more than two consecutive semesters, are considered to be in good standing. Students placed on probation for more than two consecutive semesters are subject to dismissal from the university.
