Although the primary focus of the University College is on first and second year students, the student population in the Academic Advising & Transfer Services Center is diverse and includes students who are:
Advisors work collaboratively with the Admissions Office to help PSEO students identify and register for the specific college courses permitted for their enrollment in the PSEO program.
Academic Checkpoint:
- Meet with an Advisor
- Register on time
- Check DARS regularly
- Stay on track
- Advisors collaborate with other university offices to help provide quality advising for adult, and transfer students.
- Advisors are specially trained to help students understand the requirements for their individual degree programs in order to ensure timely movement out of the University College into a degree-granting college.
- All transfer students should submit transcripts from previous institutions prior to meeting with advisors in the University College.
- All transfer students are encouraged to attend a university orientation for transfer students. Students unable to attend orientation should schedule an advising appointment and follow the AATS guide for NEXT STEPS (PDF).
