Established in 1989 and named in honor of the late state representative C.J. McLin, Jr., this program provides financial assistance to academically talented students from underrepresented ethnic groups (see C.J. McLin Scholarship requirements).
Continuing the legacy of C.J. McLin, Jr., students awarded this scholarship are required to perform community service and participate in activities that will develop and enrich leadership abilities.
Requirements:
The C.J. McLin, Jr., Scholarship provides students who are members of an underrepresented ethnic group access to higher education and the opportunity to participate in activities that will develop and enrich leadership abilities. This is a four year renewable scholarship in the amount of $1,750 per year.
