Michael Baumer Academic Advisor and Coordinator of Testing Services Hello, My name in Mike Baumer. I have been a full time Academic Advisor at WSU since 1990! I am a proud graduate of Wright State University, first in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and in 1985 with a Master of Science Degree in Social and Applied Economics! I originally came to Wright State in 1977 with the intention of transferring to another university. I have never left! I ran Cross Country four years at WSU, competing in the NCAA II Cross Country Championships three times. At age 24, I was selected to restart the Cross Country program after it was dropped for financial reasons at the conclusion of my senior year. That same year, I started the women’s Cross Country team! I coached through 1999. |

We may have had a competitive football team at OSU, but we didn’t have the option of using tunnels to get to class during bad weather! I’m looking forward to working with you. |
