Borchers Wins Alpha Lambda Delta Fellowship

Dr. Susan Huffman, National President of Alpha Lambda Delta, Academic Honor Society for First Year Students, announced that the Margaret Berry Fellowship in the amount of $5,000 for the 2010-2011 academic year has been awarded to:

Dylan Borchers

Member of the Wright State University (OH) Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta

This award is one of 23 fellowships given annually by Alpha Lambda Delta to its members. These awards are used to offset the expense of pursuing a graduate or professional degree. Members may apply for these fellowships during their senior year or after receiving their baccalaureate degree, if they have maintained Alpha Lambda Delta initiation standards throughout their college careers.

For the 2011 competition, National Alpha Lambda Delta received some of the most qualified applications in the organization’s history. Applicants were predominately graduating seniors, and came from a board cross-section of the Society’s 270 chapters. The national Fellowship Reader’s Committee spent almost two months reviewing applications.
