Much of UAB’s work is done within its committees. All UAB members are highly encouraged to join a committee in order to participate more actively in the formulation and development of our exciting events. If you are interested in joining one of our committees, sign up at our next Street Team meeting or simply attend their next meeting. You can also directly contact the appropriate chair to get involved immediately! |

Marketing Committee The Marketing Committee is in charge of promoting UAB and its events. Their role is carried out through design and distribution of flyers and other print publications, upkeep of the website, communication with the campus community, advertisement and marketing, and promotion throughout the region. It works closely with each programming committee to ensure appropriate and consistent marketing strategies for each individual event.
Event Planning Committees All events are organized by a committee and an event chair. Their responsibility is to help with ideas and brainstorming, planning and executing of each event. These committees are created 4-6 weeks prior to the start of each event. Sometimes meeting earlier to meet the specific needs of each event. Our upcoming event committees are :
