Wright State's Office of Research and Sponsored Programs supports entrepreneurial ventures by the University community, consistent with the University's Rules Governing Participation in Companies Commercializing University Discoveries, Inventions, and Patents by University Entrepreneurs.  Aside from the many support services we offer (including conflict of interest management and review, we can also collaborate with experts in the business development world to bring together the tools needed to start up a business.

The Center for Innovation Management at Wright State University Raj Soin College of Business, where MBA students and faculty provide assistance with: market opportunity analysis; value proposition evaluation; economic payback analysis; customer needs and buying behavior research; competitive analysis; financial analysis; alliance partner screening; prospect list generation; personnel planning and intern placement; and more!

The
Center for Small Business Assistance at Wright State University is affiliated with the Small Business Administration as a satellite Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The mission for the center is to provide ongoing consultation, educational research, and informational services to existing small businesses and entrepreneurs.   The office offers assistance in many areas including finance and accounting, marketing, human resource management, start-ups and business law.

daytaOhio is a trusted partner connecting innovators, entrepreneurs and investors. Its mission is to accelerate commercialization of data intensive technologies, by responding aggressively to market driven needs. daytaOhio leverages world class research, processes, and infrastructure driving a new prosperity from business creation, investment and job growth in Ohio.

The Dayton Entrepreneurs Center is an Edison Technology Incubator whose mission is to "graduate" successful tenants who will continue to contribute to the economic health of the region through the creation of jobs.

The
Miami Valley Research Park is a university-related research park owned by the non-profit Miami Valley Research Foundation, founded in 1980.  Wright State University is a member of the foundation whose mission is to foster and promote research, technological, scientific and education activities.
