Wright State University’s Professional Actor Training Program offers conservatory style training inside a liberal arts setting. The fundamental objective of the program is to prepare student to begin a professional career in theatre, television, and film. Many graduates choose to widen their training and enter M.F.A. and doctoral programs.
Within the Professional Actor Training Program, students may select a Musical Theatre emphasis, which engages them in four years of intensive and integrated acting, dance, and music training. Upon graduation, they can enter the profession as skilled, intelligent, and versatile performers in a wide range of employment opportunities.
