The Program
The B.F.A. Design/Technology Program prepares students for careers as designers, technicians, and stage managers in the professional theatre. Students approach their studies from three viewpoints: (1) general theatre knowledge with classes in acting, dramatic literature, theatre history and theory; (2) artistic design skills, with classes in design, drawing, theatre graphics, decor and costume history, and style and concept; and (3) theatre technology, with classes in technical theory, application, and craft.
