Design/Technology Concentrations

During the junior and senior year students may choose to pursue a concentration in either design or technology. Design students progress through theoretical design projects to assistant design positions on faculty-designed productions. Technology students progress through general crew positions to supervisory positions. Exceptional students may qualify for a professional theatre internship as a final senior project. Technology majors will prepare for careers as carpenters, riggers, scenic artists, stretchers, cutters, drapers, and lighting and sound technicians.
