Sandra Crews

Sandra Crews is proud to be an associate professor among her very talented colleagues in the Theatre Department at WSU. Among her directing credits here at Wright State University's theatre are Dancing at Lughnasa, Diary of Anne Frank, Grapes of Wrath, and The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial. She recently spent two summers working on the staging of Barbara Kingsolver's short story, Rose Johnny, which premiered at San Francisco's Magic Theatre and was followed by a benefit performance, attended by Kingsolver at San Francisco's Cowell Theatre in June of 1997. Crews has been on the faculty at the University of Florida, San Francisco State University, San Jose State University, and taught acting at the University of California, Davis. She has a B.A. in visual and performing arts from the University of Maryland and an M.F.A. in acting from the University of California, Davis. Crews is a member of Actor's Equity and has acted and directed professionally on both coasts.
