Students entering grades 9-11 from all over Southwest Ohio are invited to explore their potential for secondary education! The Wright State Office of Disability Services, along with the Starting Wright Program and Ohio's STEM Ability Alliance will be hosting a two-day college transition event. This workshop is for students with disabilities and their parents, who will learn how to prepare academically, socially, and personally for success in college. Topics will include differences between high school and college, self-advocacy, assistive technology, and career exploration.

A FREE event March 15, 2013 at Wright State University to help those with disABILITIES find employment and internship opportunities.

Over 30 employers will talk with individuals with disabilities about job opportunities, including non-degree generalist positions, co-op, internship, and career employment opportunities.

Job candidates are advised to dress professionally and bring plenty of résumés. One copy of the résumé is required for admission.
