In 2004 Christine successfully and miserably climbed Mt. Rainier during a six-day climbing seminar with RMI Guides. The question of how well she does at altitude was answered: “Bad!” In 2008 she went back to happily backpack around the mountain on the lower elevation Wonderland Trail, which became one of her favorite trails. Come take the journey “Up and Around Mt. Rainier!”

Spend your Veterans Day weekend with the Outdoor Resource Center in the most visited national park in the United States. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is renowned for its diversity of flora and fauna. We will spend our days sampling the expansive trail system and our nights camped out under the stars. Our hiking options will include luscious waterfalls and breathtaking vistas. In case of inclement weather, a driving tour of historic Cades Cove will provide a warm, dry alternative.
This is an amazing beginner caving trip. Spectacular views await participants in the fountain and hurricane room of Pine Hill. This cave is a great combination of crawls; open spaces, and includes a waterfall climb. This is a wet cave, so come dressed to get damp and dirty.
The cost is $25.00 and includes all equipment, instruction, and transportation from the Student Union.
To register visit the Outdoor Resource Center at 037 Student Union, Monday - Friday from 12:00pm-8:00pm. 937-775-5019
