Covers copyrights, patents, trade secrets and trademarks. Learn what resources and researching tools are available on the internet, IP websites, and general requirements to apply for patents, copyright, and trademark protection.
Designed for those with little to no knowledge about intellectual property marks - workshop will review trademark basics including differences between federal, state, & common law marks. The mechanics of searching will be demonstrated using the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website and the USPTO trademark database, TESS. A hands-on portion will allow practice on demonstrated techniques.

Join the Adventurer's Guild at their yearly convention. There will be board games,
video games, role playing games, vendors from Bell Book and Comic as well as a
Reapers Miniatures paint and take figures.
Student Government and Rainbow Alliance are holding a candlelight vigil to honor the memory of people of minority status who have been killed for being who they are or bullied to the point of taking their own life.
There will be speakers discussing advocacy and how we can and should all work together to prevent such tragedies from occurring.
