On Saturday August 25th 2012 there will be a power shut down on the first and second floor of the Medical Sciences building. It will start at approximately 7:00 am and lasting until approximately 3:00 pm. This shut down will involve lighting, power and phone service. Please be sure to back up all computers so data will not be lost.

Designed for those with little to no knowledge about intellectual property marks - workshop will review trademark basics including differences between federal, state, & common law marks. The mechanics of searching will be demonstrated using the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office website and the USPTO trademark database, TESS. A hands-on portion will allow practice on demonstrated techniques.
