A Really Cool Solar Tower on Wright State University Campus—even for a day!
“The solar tower was a temporary tower built by my senior design students. We put it right outside the engineering building to get some attention. We did get some attention. This was a great bunch of students. The tower converts solar energy to electric energy. We did produce power, but very little. Solar towers are pretty inefficient devices. Never-the-less it was a very good project”.
