You can make a difference...

Now that Climate Change is proven and happening, what can we do to lessen human impact on the environment? Scientists are collecting incredible amounts of data, meteorologists have become celebrities with the forecasts and reporting on weather-related disasters. But how can the average person have an impact on Global Systems. We got here one engine, one clear-cut forest and one megawatt at a time. The collective of our individual actions makes up the whole and that is how we make a difference, everyday. Conservation of energy, water and other resources, especially as there are more humans on Earth is the key. Becoming more aware, Greening our everyday Actions and helping others to do the same, that's the whole shooting match, as they say.

What is the best way to understand Climate Change, Global Warming and topics like Food Deserts, GMO's, and what's in our water?

To read and think and discuss. Form a Book Club. Find a book that provides accurate information and talk about what the author presents, plus add other solid information as supplemental information. Thankfully, the first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 on April 2. Prior to 1970, there was very little regulation of industry in the U.S. The resulting damage was daily pollution and dumping of industrial waste. Environmental degradation led to disasters like chemical waste in the Cuyahoga River catching fire; the Love Canal disaster and many, many more.
