WELCOME BACK WSU STUDENTS

REGISTER YOUR STUDENT ORGANIZATION FOR 2009 SCHOOL YEAR

 SIGN UP FOR SESSION:  Presidents and Treasurers must come in to the Office of Student Activities

                                               019 Student Union or call the Office of Student Activities, 775-5570 to   

                                               sign up for the session they wish to attend .  

                                               President:  Monday, September 14 at 1:45 p.m. in 012 Library Annex or
                                                                  Tuesday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. in 012 Library Annex

                                               Treasurer:  Wednesday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. in E163 Student Union  

 
ATTEND ONE SESSION:  President is required to attend one president training session

                                                Treasurer is required to attend one treasurer training session
                                  
REGISTER YOUR ORGANIZATION:  FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 at 5 p.m. is the FIRM registration deadline.  All organizations must have completed president and treasurers training and correctly and totally completed their registration on OrgSync by Friday, SEPTEMBER 25 at 5 p.m.

Wright State Intramural Sports is looking forward to another successful
year of intramural league play and special events!  Our staff is also
really excited to bring you our schedule for the Fall 2009 Quarter.
 Intramural sports and our special events are a great way to stay in

Beginning this Fall, the WSU Intramural Program will be transitioning to
Imleagues, a new online registration/scheduling system.  Imleagues is
specifically designed for college intramural departments and WSU is one
of the first schools to make use of this great new resource. A few of
Imleagues' features include online sign up and scheduling, customizable
team and group pages, message boards, and much more.

UAB Presents  THE AMAZING RACE:  FLIGHT THROUGH RAIDER COUNTRY
Hey Raiders!
Are you a returning student who wants to get more involved on campus this year? Or are you a new student who wants to learn about all the different organizations on campus? Then come to the University Activities Board 2nd Annual Amazing Race on September 23rd, 2009!! This event is a chance for you to learn more, and become involved in the many aspects of Student Life here at Wright State University.  Registration starts at 11am in the Upper Atrium in front of Wright Copy but you have until 5 to finish all the challenges. There will be challenges setup all over campus, so wear comfortable clothes, and be ready to run, jog, or walk! The fastest 3 teams to finish all the challenges will win the following prizes!!

1st Place Prize - Room Voucher at Holiday Inn, free one night stay!
2nd Place Prize - 2 free movie tickets from Regal Cinemas
3rd Place Prize – 2 tickets to the 2010 Spring Concert

Even if you do not win you can still have fun and get a free T-Shirt just for participating.

Sinclair astronomy professor Lori Cutright will speak about her personal journey into science and about the work of other great woman astronomers. This event, inspired by the International Year of Astronomy 2009’s cornerstone project “She is an Astronomer,” (http://www.sheisanastronomer.org) is intended to motivate women and girls to follow their dreams to pursue a career in science and achieve success in exploring the natural world and the universe. Co-Sponsored by the WSU Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, the WSU Women’s Center, and the WSU Department of Physics.
