NOMINATE A LEADER

It's that time again for the Office of Student Activities to call for nominations that recognize and award students who have been commendable leaders. Any student, faculty, or staff may nominate a student, themselves or an organization to be recognized for their leadership abilities or their commitment to community service. Please read over the award descriptions found at http://www.wright.edu/studentactivities/leadership/#recognition and submit your completed nomination to The Office of Student Activities located at 019 Student Union or email the nomination form to Amanda Messmore, at messmore.3@wright.edu. Nominations are due Friday April 20th.

Please take time to consider honoring a student that truly deserves recognition for their outstanding contribution to the lives of others and the campus community.

Requirements to be a Tutor:
    Minimum of 2.8 GPA
    Completed at least 15 credit hours at Wright State University
    Received a grade of A or B in courses to be tutored( and/or departmental approval)
    Ability to communicate effectively

Candidates for tutoring positions need to complete an application and attend a training conference. Appointments can be made at   023R  Dunbar Library or by calling 775-2280.

The application deadline for the Student Trustee position is Friday, April 27, 2007.

Official candidate requirements are as follows:
1)  Enrolled at WSU for at least (3) consecutive quarters at time of nomination
2)  Be a full time student of WSU during tenure of office
3)  Maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater
4)  Be a resident of Ohio
5)  Be eligible to vote in Ohio
6)  Not be under conduct probation or other disciplinary action

A week-long series of speakers and panel discussions to spread  awareness and inspire activism surrounding the  problems facing the  46 million Americans without health insurance. Sponsored by the Boonshoft School of Medicine & the CTUW Planning Committee.
