Campus Recreation offers a wide variety of recreational activities and programs including:

In the Student Union: Fitness center, locker rooms, swimming pool, racquetball and squash courts, studios, rec commons, rec desk
In the Nutter Center: Indoor track, locker rooms, McLin gymnasium, weight room
In the Outdoor Playing Fields
- How much does it cost to participate in CREC activities?
Most campus recreation facilities and programs are free of charge. Some outdoor programs and special events may require a fee. Most, intramural sports teams will have a team registration fee, some special events will still be free to participate in leagues.
- What are Rec Fit sessions and how do I participate?
Campus Recreation's Rec Fit program offers a wide variety of group fitness sessions to help individuals meet their fitness goals. Participation is easy! Just follow these steps:
- Sessions are free of charge to WSU students, employees, and affiliates. You must have a valid Wright1 card.
- All other sessions are drop in. First come, first served. Due to limited session size, you may sign in only yourself.
- What do I need to do in order to use the Student Union Fitness Center?
Students, faculty, staff and retiree association members may use the fitness center free of charge. Bring your valid Wright1 card to the Rec Desk located in 092 Student Union to gain access to the facility.
- What do I need to do to access the Nutter Center facilities?
To access the recreation areas at the Nutter Center, simply present your Wright1 card at the Rec Check located just inside gate 9, room 102. Parking is available in lots 9 and 6.
- I am interested in playing intramural sports, how do I get involved?
Most students join intramural sports as a team. Simply collect the minimum number of players required for the activity of your choice and complete team registration on IMLeagues.com. If you cannot find your own team, you may sign up on IMLeagues.com as a "Free Agent". Registrations are accepted during registration periods posted on the calendar.
- What is a sport club, and how do I become involved?
Sport Clubs are registered organizations comprised of students who share an interest in a particular sport or recreational activity. Sport Clubs can be divided into three areas: instructional, social, and competitive. - What is adapted recreation?
Adapted Recreation is recreational programming for individuals with disabilities. Program offerings include competitive, open recreation, social, and outdoor activities.
- What is outdoor recreation?
The Outdoor Recreation program offers unique and exciting opportunities for members of the Wright State family to experience the great outdoors. All skill levels are accommodated because instructional workshops and clinics are provided in order to make trips safe. Visit the Outdoor Resource Center, E008 Student Union, for more information about upcoming activities.
