Club History: The Wright State Men's Club Soccer team was established in 2001 by Eric Schweser and Tom Brookey. The team plays in the Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference (MASC) in the Eastern Division against teams such as the University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati, Ohio University and Xavier during the fall season. Games are played on Saturday and Sunday from early September through early November. During winter and spring the team plays indoor at Sportsplex. In our inaugural season we were quite successful as we finished the year as regional tournament runner-up to the University of Illinois. In our second year we beat the University of Toledo in the regional tournament to be named as MASC Champions. Due to a conflict with our final exams week and graduation, we were forced to decline the NCAA bid to nationals. During this, our third year, we were fortunate enough to earn a seed in the regional tournament once again. However, we lost in the early rounds and were eliminated.
