Looking for relief from the winter doldrums?

The 2013 Omicron Delta Kappa Leader 2 Leader Conference is just around the corner! This is the ninth annual conference, planned by members of WSU's circle of ODK. This year's theme is "Lights, Camera, Leaders in Action!" The conference is designed to help attendees improve their leadership skills to maximize their success as students and student leaders.

Breakout sessions throughout the day will be focused on building a strong foundation of personal leadership, organizational collaboration, and moving leadership into the community. Sessions will be interactive at times and offer an opportunity to meet other conference attendees. The one-day conference is free-of-charge to all Wright State students, faculty, and staff and includes a free breakfast and lunch.

Elect Her: Wright State Women Win: Are you interested in learning the nuts and bolts of running a student government or other leadership campaign? This special workshop will demystify the campaign process and teach you how to develop and communicate an effective message, how to reach your constituency, and how to win a campaign. Katie Shorey is a Program Director for Clifton Consulting LLC, a Washington, DC company dedicated to helping women advance within their careers. Katie is an energetic and progressive young leader with a passion for promoting leadership and women in politics. Let Katie empower the leader in you. Elect Her is offered in place of Sessions 1, 2 and 3 and; while geared to women, is open to everyone.

Omicron Delta Kappa is a National Leadership Honor Society that recognizes achievement in many areas of leadership. The WSU Circle (chapter) of ODK was established in 2004.
