Good Standing

Undergraduate students who have earned a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA or have not been on probation for more than two consecutive quarters, are considered to be in good standing. Graduate students are considered to be in good standing if they have earned a 3.0 or higher cumulative graduate GPA. Graduate students who have been admitted in regular degree status and who have completed at least 12 quarter hours of graduate course work and have less than a 3.0 graduate GPA are placed in probationary status. A student on probation must achieve good standing within the next 12 quarter hours of graduate course work from the time he or she was placed on probation. Graduate students will be notified that they have been placed on probation by a notice on their grade reports. Students will also be notified by letter from the School of Graduate Studies.
