Greek Affairs Council (GAC) serves as the coordinating group for all of the social fraternity and sorority organizations on Wright State’s campus. Through its programs, activities, policies and procedures, the GAC promotes the development of brotherhood and sisterhood, civic engagement, peer and campus leadership, community and philanthropic services, while supporting the academic mission of the university. The IFC is the governing body for the 4 National Interfraternity Conference fraternities and 1 local fraternity at Wright State.
Executive Board
The Greek Affairs Council executive board is comprised of members from fraternity and sorority chapters in good standing. Elections are held annually during the Spring quarter for a one-year term. Selection/election of the GAC president’s position is rotated each year by a member from one of the other current three governing councils: The Interfraternity council, the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and the Pan-Hellenic Council.
