Zeta Tau Alpha was founded at Longwood College, Farmville, Virginia in 1898. Eta Pi chapter was chartered here at Wright State University on May 19, 1973. Zeta Tau Alpha has grown from nine founders to an international membership of over 120,000 women comprising 235 collegiate chapters.

An active sorority on the Wright State University campus, Zetas participate in campus activities such as Fall Fest and May Daze, Greek Week and other social events. "Singled Out" was one of the interesting fundraisers Zeta introduced to Wright State in the past years. Another fundraiser was Zetapalooza. This promoted alcohol and drug free awareness.

Zeta Tau Alpha also does volunteer work for their national philanthropy the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. In this past year nationally, Zeta Tau Alpha has raised over $750,000 for this cause. Other service projects include bingo at nursing homes, Into the Streets, The Ronald McDonald House and Race for the Cure.

Our ambitious women participate in campus events filled with Zeta Spirit. We often make our presence known by arriving wearing face paint and chanting Zeta tunes. This previous year has been an award winning year for the Eta Pi Zeta ladies who exemplified their motto, Seek the Noblest. At the annual Greek Banquet Zeta's were honored through several awards including, the Outstanding Underclassmen Award, Outstanding Advisor Award, 2nd Place in Greek Week, and membership into the elite Greek Hall of Fame. In the past few years Zeta members have received such honors as Homecoming Queen, Outstanding Senior, Fraternity Sweetheart
