Welcome to the The
Wright State University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa!
Thanks to everyone who attended the first annual Leader-to-Leader Conference at Wright State. The guest speakers and student presenters were excellent and we look forward to building on this tradition.
All WSU Student Organization members were invited to attend the first annual Leader-to-Leader (L2L) Conference on April 30, 2005. The topics highlighted multiple aspects of leadership, particularly in the context of a student organization. Students were welcomed by faculty, alumni, and Omicron Delta Kappa to learn about elements ranging from fundraising to communications to integrating a web site into an organization.
The Wright State Circle, founded in May of 2004, is led by Wright State students in pursuit of a collaborative diversity of the leaders in the campus community.
Omicron Delta Kappa
was founded at Wright State to recognize and bring together the outstanding
students, staff and faculty who play an important role in the development
of leadership in the University community and in the world affected by
it.
The purpose of Omicron
Delta Kappa is threefold:
I. To
recognize those who have exhibited a high standard of leadership and efficiency
in collegiate
activities;
II. To bring together student
leaders from all sectors of collegiate life in order to help mold the sentiment
of the university for questions of local and collegiate interest;
III. To bring together members
of the faculty and the student body on a basis of mutual interest and understanding.
