Our
Mission We are a club dedicated to encouraging
participation in multisport activities. We welcome
anyone interested in having fun, making friends,
improving their overall fitness, and challenging
themselves to participate in multisport events.
Who
can join? Anyone can participate,
regardless of age, fitness level, or previous
experience. We encourage participation in triathlons,
duathlons, and adventure races, but the desire to race
is not a requirement for club membership.
What
is a TRIATHLON? A triathlon consists of
swimming, biking, and running. The distance of each
phase varies based on the type of triathlon. Typical
distances run by members of our club are shown below.

What
is a DUATHLON? A duathlon consists of a run phase, followed by
a bike phase, then another run phase. Like the triathlon, there are
different distances offered at races. Typical distances are shown below.

What
is an ADVENTURE RACE?
Adventure races are competitions designed for the
true outdoor athlete. Activities and distances vary
widely, but generally consist of some combination of
trail running, orienteering, kayaking or swimming, and
mountain biking.
Why should I join?
It's Fun! - Unlike most people envision,
triathletes are not workout-aholics. Many of our club
members have numerous hobbies such as working on cars,
quilting, and bar hopping! Although several of our
members are highly competitive and very talented, our
main focus is to enjoy being active, and being able to
eat pretty much anything.
Multisport Library - Club members have full
access to our Multisport Library, which contains
numerous books on triathlon training and nutrition, as
well as books on swimming, cycling, and running. There
are also several DVD's showing professional triathletes
compete to watch. The list is ever growing!
Ambush Adventure Sports - All of our members
receive a 10% discount off of all race entries.
USA Triathlon - All members receive an 10%
discount off of a yearlong membership, which is required
for nearly all multisport races.
