Lift Individual Voices for Equality (LIVE) was established in the spring of 2006 with a vision to create a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and allies organization that focused on community service. Senior, Ashley Bowers, is the founder of LIVE and also the president. Ashley's mission was to create another option for the GLBTQA community at Wright State University. LIVE is working in partnership with 4 Paws for Ability, PFLAG Dayton, Youth Quest, Equality Ohio, Wright State's Rainbow Alliance and the Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance. Last year, LIVE organized and sponsored the first annual Queer Prom. This year, the Queer Prom will be on Saturday, April 26, 2008. LIVE meets in E157A of the Student Union, every other Monday from 7:30-9:30PM. LIVE would love for YOU to be a part of their community of friends!
